Bob Collymore does the unthinkable
Bob William Collymore, the Safricom chief executive officer has done the unthinkable.
He has declared his wealth, publicly. Put it out there for all to see. For all to think what they may. To feel as they please. To follow suit.
What Bob has done is sure sure to send shivers down the spine of many. But it is a very positive move. All and sundry must now do the same--truthfully.
(We are about to witness miracles in wealth making. Many a HR skewed contract structuring. *Bob--given that he heads EA's most profitable company, how dare you earn more than him and your company is loss making?*).
After working for over 30 years, Bob is worth $3,792,800.
Lets break this down:
Bob is worth about KSh400 million.
Bob's salary is slightly over Sh9 million a month as the Safaricom chief executive. (this is actually depressing when i compare it to my total monthly bills--which i still struggle with.aaargh..)
Per day Bob earns Sh302,000. One minute with Bob is worth Sh210 (assuming he works for 24 hours a day.
*They will have him for breakfast lunch and dinner, for a month at minimum, daily--complete with beers, wine and expensive shots.*
